Baby B. is fast approaching 7 months and baby-led weaning is something I am totally diving into; it is safe to say that we are well and truly into the swing of things and loving it despite all the mess! 🙈

Just for your info, NHS explains baby-led weaning as ‘offering your baby only finger foods and letting them feed themselves from the start (rather than spoon feeding them puréed or mashed foods). You can find more info here:

Of course thinking about weaning your baby makes you also think about home made cooking because it just makes sense to offer your baby the best, something that is tastier, more cost effective and simply healthier in any way.

But what if I tell you that it is also one of the easiest things you can do to contribute to the preservation of our Planet?

So cooking at home for all your family allows you to source sustainable ingredients, waste less foods do food packaging and use less energy meaning less impact on the environment.

Yeah the Earth says Thank you 🙏 😃

As we are also impatiently waiting for the first tooth to make an appearance 🦷, I wanted to share a recipe for home made teething biscuits that baby B. found very soothing and yummy ( and that with a little practice can also be made using only one hand!!!)

Have I got another Eco-Friendly recipe to share today before I go ?

Sure it’s a skincare recipe by Tropic Skincare called ABC collection which I have been trying for over two weeks.

If you know me I never been into skincare but more of a soap and water kind of person, also I don’t use make-up daily either.

Well despite that I am finding this little routine so pleasant, a proper recipe for a healthier skin with a eco twist in Tropic Skincare style!

It combines a creamy SMOOTHING CLEANSER that really melts away impurities and other nasties that get onto our skin daily. I use the word ‘melt’ on purpose because it perfectly describes the sensation you feel when massaging it onto your skin and wash it away especially when use it with the super soft bamboo cloth.

I feel it washes away even stress and negativity if you had one of those days ( sending much love for that too!) ❤️

Then a VITAMIN TONER that is going to take care of the skin pores reducing their appearance but really what it does to me when spritzed onto my face it really revives it and says to my skin ‘ready, steady, go!’

SKIN FEAST is another ingredient in this skincare recipe that I learned now is a staple for good skin! It is THE moisturiser which protects and hydrates.

If you think it feels a little oily when applied is only temporary, enjoy it, believe in it and let it work its magic, I personally love how good it feels on the skin afterwards.

There are other ‘cherry on the top’ Tropic products that you can add to the ABC routine depending of what your skin is needing at that time such as masks, serums and oils which I am going to have fun trying in the next few days so stay tuned if you are interested 😊
